Hi everyone! I am still a newbie to this whole MFP, working out, eating right, counting calories etc. and like many newbies, the more we read, the more confused we get ( at least I do and I know a lot of others do too by reading all these boards). TDEE-20%, eat exercise calories back...dont eat exercise calories back...you know what I am talking about because I am sure you are tired of seeing these quesions.
So here is my issue. I have a LOT to lose. I am trying to figure out the best way to calculate my daily calories. I have gone to the road map post several times, I have also gone to the scooby website, fitgirls website and a few others and not sure why but I keep getting different totals for what my tdee and bmr numbers are. Some are as much as a couple of hundred off? I still do not get it as I am putting in the same info. Please do not tell me that isnt possible because I am not making this up. I really want to suceed and I really want to do this the healthy way...not looking for a quick way...I want to do this right! It took me awhile to ask this because there is so much negativity and arguments that appear in posts that I am hoping to avoid all of that. So, with that said, can anyone give me advice on the best site to calculate my numbers so I can see what range of calories I should be eating daily? Any help is greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time

This is the best as per my research:

I use the Military calculator for body fat%. Just make sure you are consistent and use the same tool every time. Good luck!0
