Low Hb and headaches?

I tried to give blood on Friday but my Hb was too low (112 - minimum they accept is 125). I have been feeling tired lately so I wasn't surprised. However all weekend I have had a headache - can anyone help with a possible correlation between the low Hb and the headaches?

Thanks in advance........I think my diary should be open to all but let me know if you can't see it.
