The 'I did it even though,.....'thread

So after a crap day I decided not to let it derail me and I still went for a 45 min walk (in a gorgeous spot!) even though I was pissed off at the world. I also ate all the healthy food I took to work even though I wasn't hungry, because I"d logged and planned for it.
What have you achieved today even though....?

Stayed under my calorie goal even though I had pizza. After I ate it, I was SOOO sure I was over and fell into that thinking. "Well," I thought. "I screwed up today. I might as welly really go for it. I'm going to have cake and cookies..." etc etc. But my wonderful husband gently reminded me of the REASON I was trying to get the weight off. He wasn't mean, didn't even mention my weight. He just carefully and quietly reminded me that he was proud of me. How do you screw up after that? This is why it's important to have a support system! If I had been all by myself today, I would have kept on eating. Instead, we went for a little walk, watched some TV and I still wound up under my calorie goal.0

i love your hubby. my husband is supportive but bad at verbalizing it without either sounding either critical or completely nonchalant about what i need. what your husband said is the perfect motivator. hug him for me.0 -
I did a long work out tonight even though I was exhausted from working all day, heavily cramping hours before, and comfortably watching TV in bed. Somehow, I pulled myself up and out to my gym at 9:30 and worked off the TOM chocolate binge of earlier0
