Okay so eating food at an Italian last night left me feeling rubbish so thinking of reassessing my current "normal".
I did a 30 day Paleo challenge at New Year, so might try and make my diet more paleo, not 100% as that didn't agree with me but I liked the cleaner eating. As for calories, I don't feel like I've lost any really weight since I moved from MFP's recommended 1,400 to 1,840 based on a site that looked at BMR. I looked again last night and if anything advice seems to say to bump my cals up?!? There's so much different advice, even just on the threads of here, how do you pick what to follow on something that could have such an impact?
I've already lost about three stone on this journey (40 plus lbs) but want to shift some more before I move to maintenance.
Any suggestions, do I drop cals lower or is this a starvation zone? A friend also suggested 5:2 intermittent fasting to get past the plateau, not sure I'm brave enough for that but an comments on it would be great.
Just FYI I'm currently 221lbs / 15st 11 at 5'11 and have a inactive job but do high intensity workouts (crossfit) 2 times a week, plus Zumba, Pilates and walking the pooch.
Help guys! I need a reset and something to focus me if I'm gonna shift the rest of this weight, I feel I've come too far in the journey not to finish it off strong x
