Looking for friends... that eat!

Hi MFPers! :)
I'm not new here, but lately I've been struggling not to go back to my old ways and a large chunk of people have stopped logging and have gone missing!
Ever since the new year I've slowly been slipping into eating less and less and netting sometimes only 500-something calories while I know I need to eat way more when working out 5-6 days a week! So I'm looking for some positive gals (or guys!) of any age out there that love food, healthy eating and preferably have open dairies! :)

I log daily, dairy is open and love to send some motivation and support back your way!
I don't have a lot to lose, I'm working more on losing body fat %s and building muscle and getting stronger!

Some stats:
5'2, currently 107-108, 23yrs young

Please add me if you love food ;)

I know it is hard. That is my struggle too! Anyone is welcome to add me. My diary is always open. Also, I am willing to help and support anyone who needs it.

I'll be adding you, we can do this! :)
  • Hi there! I definitely eat! And I, too, feel eating should be about simple and wholesome abundance and nourishment! I think my food diary proves that to be true! =) If we eat whole foods, get rid of the fattening and diseasing carbohydrate, and supplant the vacancy with a high enough amount of healthy fats, while holding protein somewhat constant, you will turn your body from a sugar/carb-burner and fat-storer (of the leftovers) to a fat storer and burner outright, and most likely improve your metabolic health markers in the process, as millions of years of human evolution would support.

Here's a great video to watch to get started down the road: slimissimple.org. Please just let Jonathan do his thing, and try to keep an open mind. It's not trying to sell anything, it's more of just a public service announcement to encourage our return to healthful consumption. =)

Other topics and minds that I feel would be time invested for you:

    TheSmarterScienceOfSlim.com
Sugar - The Bitter Truth by Dr. Robert Lustig (YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBnniua6-oM
    TheLivinLowCarbShow.com with Jimmy Moore
    Dr. Peter Attia and EatingAcademy.com
YouTube presentations by Peter Attia, Gary Taubes and Jonathan Bailor
    NuSI.org

Careful, though, this is a rabbit hole that once you take the leap, you're concept of nutrition and your awareness of things may be apt to change a little. I definitely encourage you to keep on moving forward, and assure you it's a whole lot easier than many of us have been led to believe! =) Do keep us posted on your progress!

haha, I've been called the queen of snacking before because I eat small things all day while most people I know only eat twice a day! :")

ok...fair enough...I just usually look at diaries before sending a friends request as an idea if we have things in common.

    good luck with your journey

Hi, I like to eat, and I have an open diary! :)

21, 5'8 and eat 2500 cals a day (inclusive of exercise) to lose slowly, around 1/2lb a week roughly.
Have around 10 more pounds to lose, although mostly focused on inch loss, maintaining muscle and keeping my strength up.

Feel free to add me :)
