I found out today that I was selected in the lottery for a half marathon (my first) this summer - on my 29th birthday! Who would have ever thought I'd be so excited for the opportunity to pay a bunch of money to run for 13.1 miles?!

    That's awesome! Good luck with your training. Running my first 1/2 on April 6 so yes, it's weird to be excited but I get it!

    Thanks! I am running a 10k in early April, which is timed perfectly for my training. I can't believe I am doing this! Good luck to you as well!
