Striiv

I'm thinking of getting a Striiv pedometer and I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on how they work and if you like yours.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

  • I have the Striiv app on my phone and for the most part, I like it. I did notice (once someone pointed it out) that the calories burned on my phone do not match the calories burned once it is linked to MFP. Also, I noticed that sometimes it takes awhile for the app to start counting my steps. But again, thats the app on my phone. Let me know how you like the Striiv pedometer, though, because I thought about getting one too. Or a FitBit.

Did you know there is the original STRIIV Smart pedometer and the STRIIV Play which links with the app.

I'm thinking of getting the Striiv Play Smart Pedometer because it can link to MFP and I have an iPhone so I really don't need the big screen on the other one. My only dilemma now is whether or not to invest in getting the pedometer or investing in getting a heart rate monitor since I don't have one of those. Do you know if there is a gadget out there that can do both?

The play doesn't let you give to charity. Look at the Bodymedia fit. Very accurate and to be worn for dily activity as well as exercise.

Thank you for referring me to Bodymedia Fit! After looking into all the different ones. I think I'm going to go with that one. And I found a brand new one cheaper on amazon!
