? About enchiladas (tomatoes)

Quick ? Wonder if someone cud help plz I'm making these for dinner and got all the ingredients except tinned tomatoes,
Could I use tomato purée ?? And if so had anyone tried them wit it I'm thinking I should just stick to the tin and go to the shop but I don't want to go back out lol,

    Oh geez, when I'm cooking, most tomato products are interchangeable. :P It just changes the texture a bit.

    have you got a load of tomatoes? its easy to make yourself :D or tomato juice? if so mix it with the puree, just using puree wont really make a sauce, they'll be more dry but just as good :D turn it into fajitas instead (also healthier)

    If you have tomato puree or tomato paste with a little water you can certainly substitte. I would just make do with what I had. Tomato puree I would probably sub 1:1 for the canned tomatoes.

    Could I even use tomato purée with normal tomatoes? Or wud I be better just using water & purée?

    I have cooked it as healthy as possible, used the mince and cooked it in its own juice then added the onions was about to add the tin of tomatoes n was like ahhh crap standing here going noooo lol,

    I would dice some of your fresh tomatoes and add with the puree and a little water
