I lost 2.8 pounds and this is my first week. I feel like it should have been more. I worked out 4 times and logged every thang I ate.

do u mean thrilled? remember that it takes time. it took you however long to put the weight on, it's not going to come off overnight. keep doing what your doing. be consistent, and exercise often and youll not only notice your weight improving but endurance and strength as well.0

People who are used to crash diets are often not thrilled that they aren't losing a pound a day, but honestly, if you're doing it the healthy way, you should be pretty happy with that. I intentionally only lose about 1 lb per week because slower is more healthy for my body and more sustainable in the long run. Congrats!0

2.8 is a great first week loss. It kind of worries me about how you're going to feel next week if your loss is lower.0

2.8 is fantastic, slowly slowly and the weight stays off, don't rush it and please don't be disappointed :-)0

THIS and I just want to add if you are into crash dieting and lose weight too fast you will have loose skin. I have some from losing weight after I had my daughter last year and I am not a fan! It's getting better, but remember to be healthy as PP has said. Slow and steady wins the race.0 -
That's more than one percent of your body weight most likely! Great job! Don't get hung up on the numbers. You are on a long trail to having a healthy lifestyle. You don't want to yo-yo you want long term success or you would be on some kind of fad diet! Stick with it. Nearly 3 pounds for a person that has 70 pounds to lose is huge! Six months at that pace and you would be under your goal weight... Don't worry about the when you get to your goal. Focus on fixing what got you to 70 pounds over your goal weight...0

That's a fantastic number. 1-2 lbs per week is desirable.
If you've been watching Biggest Loser, take it with a grain of salt. That's not the norm and shouldn't be striven for.0 -
I haven't lost for 3 weeks, not giving up though.0
