YAY!! I did it! I upped my Squat Weights from 20 to 30 pounds! I did 3 sets of 10 reps. after two sets I was actually starting to sweat a bit...but the house is set a bit warm today. I need to check that.

I know that 30 pounds isn't "Lifting Heavy", but it IS heaviER!

I usually hold a 20# dumbbell with one hand on each end and at chest level (pulled in to my body).

Today I used my two kettle bells, that are 15# each. Held my arms down, but bent at the elbow to hold the kettlebbells sightly out from my body, about hip level.

not only do I feel them in my butt, but my arms are feeling it too.

I hope to work out a schedule to drive to my parent's house (10 minute drive) a couple times a week. My dad has a home gym. all the barbells and weights and benches and 2 pulley machine thingies.

right now we have 2 cars, which seems like enough, but two of our boys are taking college classes so I only have a few hours here and there to have the car. So I need to get a schedule all worked out.

anyway-- YAY! I went UP with the weights! I was headachey and felt like my Chronic Fatigue was kicking in this morning, but my MFP friends encouraged me to not give in to it!

next up today: increase weights for some side lunges!
