No surgery, no fad diets, no ridiculously low caloric restrictions, just sensible food (mostly lol) and hard work...

323 before 234 in the pic (231 now) 220 goal...and still a lot of fitness goals to meet.

This thread is incredibly inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm too shy to post mine but if I can manage to blur my face out I'll have a try.

I read through all 14 pages and had tears come to my eyes a few times! How insanely amazing are you all?!?!

I've only started a few weeks ago, and am 12 lbs down. I took some "before" pics tonight because of this thread - hopefully I can make the huge changes you all have!

I started last March and have lost 125ish pounds to date. My highest weight was 280lbs and my ultimate goal weight is 130lbs and I am 5'5" for reference and 35 years old. Here is my Pretty in Pink collage...

First Picture (270lbs, 28 years old), Second picture (220lbs), Third Picture - present day (155lbs, 35 years old, and only 25lbs left to lose!!!)

Ok, I'll try this too. I started out at 236lbs in October 2012. This photo is from that time. I am on the left with my best friend who inspired me to start this journey. He is lost now to cancer but I carry on getting my health in order largely in memory of him.

This series starts after I've already lost 20lbs but shows some progress. I've still got a ways to go but I'm getting there. (I never really intended to show these to anyone as they are not pretty, but what the heck, the thread asked for it...)

    215-to-195.jpg

Great work! It's a a lovely and meaningful tribute to your friend!!

    Amazing achievement :)

** I changed some of the html codes for you from uppercase to lowercase. Some parts said "IMG" instead of "img"

Nice job on the weight loss! I'm currently working on going from 148lbs to about 135 or 140lbs :)

Thank you so much Lorahkwano! Photo posting was driving me crazy - I've never posted pictures before so was very confusing!

Nice goal. I'm mostly looking to get my body fat % down now - I need to start lifting like you!
