I've been trying to go to the gym more..... My step classes are easy since there is an aerobics, step choice, but how about 1 hr my total body class??? We do everything and it changes every week. We do squats, crunches, run, leg lifts, box, and use a bar or weights but we do all these things for like 2 min intervals .... How do I even begin to calculate that!

Use Aerobics, under Cardio. Just enter the time length of the entire class.0

Invest in a heart rate monitor! You can get them cheaper on Amazon than in stores. That way you get an accurate amount of calories burnt no matter what exercises you are doing in your classes. Best $80 I ever spent.0

I dunno, all those gym fitness classes tend to be one form of cardio or another, so I'd probably use the same thing you used for the step class. It doesn't matter, really, because if the scale isn't moving in the right direction after 3 weeks, you'll need to adjust your calories eaten, not your method of logging exercise calories.
*Sorry, I have no links to prove this so you'll have to take my word for it.0
