Some good TDEE explanation sites

Can someone point in the direction of some good TDEE explanation's on the web. I did a google and mostly it's calculators coming up and forum responses that aren't clear enough on the ins and outs of it. I saw a post on here a while ago where someone went into great detail explaining the importance of TDEE but I can't find it. I'd be grateful for any help (:

Someone just pointed me to this site:

It's really great. It eliminates the grey area in trying to decide what activity level you are.0 -
Just came to ask the same thing0

I used the TDEE calculator on the scooby workshop site and let's say my TDEE is 2000, my BMR is 1350 and my caloric needs according to my activity level is 1490. Do I change my MFP to 1490 and NOT log my exercise? I'm confused!!0

Hmm, now I'm confused!! What I did was change my cal's to my TDEE- 20%. I still log my exercise but I don't eat back my exercise. Don't know if that helps but that's what I did0
