I've got about 5 hours of songs that are all between 120 and 130 bpm.
I hit the treadmill for an hour at 3.5 mph and that bpm range works perfectly, I just hit random and go.
Depending on where a song falls in that range, it dictates my stride, what I'm doing with my upper body (as I'm also using 3-4lb dumbells), and the over all feel of my workout for the duration of that song, which always keeps it interesting. I really try to get into the music as much as possible, sometimes to the point where it feels like I'm dancing on the treadmill ...
I used this website to calculate the bpm: http://bit.ly/9iWclv0
