A recent study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that each hour spent in front of the tube is associated with a reduced life expectancy of about 22 minutes. Considering that average American logs four-plus hours daily. that can really add up over the decades.

My advice: Catch on your favorite season show from your treadmill or a stationary bike instead of an easy chair!
