P90X - Ab Ripper X - Back Problems

For those of you doing P90X... does anybody else experience unbearable back pain when doing the AB Ripper routine? I've cut it out completely because after the first set of ins and outs and bicycles my back hurts so much I just can't continue (the pain isn't really centralized, kind of follows my spine and then spreads out to make everything hurt).

Any tips for how to overcome this? Or perhaps tips on how to improve my form to prevent it?
