I just don't get it...

i feel like i've hit a plateau. i'm down to 144.7lbs. i've been this weight all month, but i've picked up my workouts/calories burned. i am burning about 300-500 x 5 days a week. MFP wanted me at 1200 calories a day, but that was too little so i up'd it to 1400. I eat clean as of Feb. no boxed food, just healthy healthy food. i'm not understanding what i should actually be eating (calories wise) my
BMI: 25.8
TDEE: 2195
BMR: 1416

what ever I burn from working out, i haven't eaten. example: goal is 1400 + burned 300 = 1700, i am still consuming 1400 calories. is this wrong? I would think with eating "clean" and working out 5 days a week, i would be losing a little bit of weight. but i know i am toning, will i stay around this weight but "tone"? or will i ever be able to get to my goal weight 130 and being toned at the same time?
advise is needed :-)

  • I would eat back all of your exercise calories back. So eat 1400 a day + your exercise calories.

Or go look up in place of a road map and read it through. Id suggest eating plenty of protein. Try switcing up workouts and incorporate strength training into your routine.

That has atleast helped me...so i hope it helps you!

Listen, I've only lost 8 pounds..but i have been reading through the forums to tell you what a lot of people think. That you are not eating enough. You are supposed to eat those calories back. You will also hear that "weight loss is not linear" meaning maybe your body is just adjusting. They will also say..you should never net below your BMR..which you are.. so you are basically in starvation mode and your body is going to fight you in losing any more weight.
