Eating While Traveling for Business

I am stressing about going to a work related conference tomorrow. I have been really good about bringing my breakfast and lunch to work and tracking everything and I don't want to fall off the wagon. I have to fly out to Las Vegas tomorrow for a 2-day conference. That means, airport foods, conference foods and hotel foods - none of which are going to be easy to track. I'm worried about knowing what is in everything and how to track what I'm actually consuming.

Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom for travel? I wish I could bring my own food, but that's not happening

You know what you "should" eat. Just make good choices. Just because you are out of town doesn't mean calories don't count.

Don't forget to pack your workout gear - most hotels have a gym these days.

Plus if you can look up the restaurants you will be eating at in advance online and figure out what you can eat.

That way you wont panic and order something you regret. Don't be afraid to ask for your meal prepared the way YOU want it - without dressing, etc.

Try to find a place to buy some fruit or greek yogurt. I was on the road for years and thought yippee, steak everyday. Need I say a gained a lot of weight.
