Love handles...booooo.

Hi all! I am back here again after a long hiatus, and I am DETERMINED to look the way I want to again! I need your help though. I do not have a "fat tummy"...I have love handles, or a muffin top as I like to call it. You know, when you put on your pants and they mush the fat on your backside to look like the top of a muffin falling over your pants? Well, I'm dieting and I'm working out, but does anyone know of any exercises that specifically target these love handles? I'd be happy as can be, regardless of the number on the scale, if they would just go away! Merci!

First, if you have a muffin top hanging over your pants like that, it's likely because you're wearing a size too small. Sure, a little hanging over is one thing, but if it's squished when your pants are zipped, bite the bullet and buy a bigger size.
Second, the only hting that will get rid of love handles is to lose the fat. No amount of exercise will make the fat "melt off" that area. So, eat at a caloric deficit, strength train, do some core work and some cardio.0
