Question about kcal in cooked/uncooked rice and pasta

Hi guys.
I have a question about the amount of kcal in pasta and rice.
When noting how much you've eaten, there's a difference between if you've weighed your food cooked or uncooked, right? Uptil now I've always thought that 100 g of uncooked rice/pasta have approximately 350 kcal, whereas there's "only" about half the amount of kcal if you weight 100 g of cooked rice/pasta, but this doesn't fit with the kcal-charts on here, which indicate that there isn't any difference. So my (stupid) question for you is; is there a difference between picking your pasta/rice cooked or uncooked? and how big is the difference? can someone please help me, cause i eat A LOT of rice and it's really important for me to get it right.
Thank you

Most caloric measures are for uncooked rice and pasta because it will absorb different amounts of water each time you make it, so there's no way to accurately measure the calories when cooked.
Here's what I do:
I weigh out the dry measure of rice. After cooking, I weigh all of the cooked rice--it has all the calories of the dry measure. I then divide the calories of the dry measure by the weight of the cooked rice to get the calories per gram of that batch of rice. I write that on a piece of tape and put it on the outside of whatever container I keep the rice in, and then when I portion out some it's easy for me to determine how many calories I'm eating.0
