31 year old trying to drop 20 lbs and tone up

I used to be skin and bones. I weighed about 170 soaking wet, and I'm 6'1". Since I've gotten married, had a child and settled down working a job where I sit on my butt all day I've put on some weight.. I weight 205 right now, most of which is in my gut, legs, and some in my face.
I'm an actor, and former professional wrestler. I want to look better for acting, and for my spouse.. and to just feel better about myself. I don't feel "fat" but when I look in the mirror I feel like I certainly look it.
I'd like to get back down to 175-180 toned, with some muscle definition, but nothing crazy. I don't want to be musclebound.
I just started eating different, and I'm on day 3 of Insanity.. which is totally kicking my butt. When I get to where I want to be, I'm going back to tae kwon do. I have 1900 calories per day here on my fitness pal, but I had a friend tell me to shoot for 1500 since I'm doing insanity. I'm not sure which is correct.
my BMR is 2059.45
in order to drop the weight, how many calories should I actually be shooting for?
here's my diary
