Energy Drink Alternatives.

Hello.
I want to say before everyone starts battering me about this, I would love to not rely on caffeine at all, I would be even happier if I could drink warm drinks in the morning instead of cold fizzy ones but things don't always work out the way you want do they ?
There is no way, at this moment in time, that I can function without caffeine, thanks to the late nights and early mornings I have to endure, but my dentist has given me a bit of a kick and told me to cut down on the sugar in my diet.
The problem is I don't know anything that gives the instant get up and go factor like energy drinks and at the moment the 'get up and go' is vital to me getting out of bed and getting places on time etc.
So what I'm asking is ... is there a healthier, less sugary alternative to energy drinks and fizzy pop ?

Green Tea with splenda. 2 bags.
I also use Emerge (from Max Muscle) before a workout for a pop of energy. Great flavors, too.0
