This morning my 9 month old woke me up at 4 am. So I fed her and tried to get back to sleep. By 4:30 it was apparant that I wasn't falling back to sleep so I decided to go work out. What a great idea! I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and for some reason, today's workout made me feel like my old self again.
Before I got pregnant with my son 6 years ago I was training for an amatuer light weight fitness competition. I never made that goal and I know it sounds crazy for a 250+ lb woman to set that as a goal but the way I felt this morning.... I have decided that I am going to go for that goal again. I want to reach this goal by the time I am 40 which is just over a year away. I feel confident, renewed and energized. What a great morning!
