So I have sarted this last week, I want to lose a lot (~95 lbs) but in my one week check-up I am down 5 lbs already. Yay me. I am not trying to maintain this rate, I don't think I can and keep it off but I have tried increasing activity and excercize a little more self control with portion sizing and things are going in the right direction. I have been using the employee family assistance program at work and the dietician they connected me with has been a great support.
Just a shout out to other people looking at starting, try it. Look into any benefits you might have like a employee assistance program, often they are there but not well advertised and it is not just for grief counselling!
Good luck everyone. I know in the comming months and years I will need some more help with motivation, I appreciate all the post on here. keep it up guys.
