Im am confused!

I have read lots of posts saying that to break a plateau one have to up their daily calories (especially if they eat 1200 cal or less). If so, why do people with sleeves or lapbands lose so much weight at 600-1000? I am totally confused! Can you help me understand? Thanks!

sleeves and lap bands are a whole different ball game. The advice you hear about upping your coloric goal from 1200 is not for those that have utilized these medical methods. Those that have these things are needing to keep thier caloric goals low for medical reasons. The best method for those people when weight loss stalls is to consult there doctor.0

I have a few MFP friends who have undergone surgery, they do not eat much but if you look they take special nutrient shakes and are constantly monitored by their doctors, not exactly a fun way to live. you should read this, Here is good info:
