Your starting point!

Is your starting weight on here the same as your weight the first time you signed up? If so, is that the same time as when you decided to make a lifestyle change?

I signed up to this site ages ago as a lot of people were talking about it on some forums. Months and 6kgs later I decided to start using this site.

I did not put a ticker up until I had lost a few kgs but even then it did not reflect the progress I felt I had made. So I have now changed my 'starting weight' to the start of my lifestyle change.

I decided enough was enough on 12/26 (after consuming way too much food over the Christmas period) and my weight on that day was 182.5lb.

When I joined mfp on 1/14 I logged 182.5, although @ 1/9 I weighed 173.7. What I regret is not logging my body measurements and my BMI, this followed much later.

When I first weighted in on mfp I weighted in at 155 lbs today I am 145 lbs , 10 lost and about 10-15 lbs to go . My ticker is not the original weight when I started . I started this journey for myself and I will get to my goal ;)! I came back to mfp after 2.5 months of being stuck at 149-147 :/! Couldn't break it .. So I changed my routine ( insanity (6 days a week) gym twice a week ( eliptiacal, weights) and yoga 3 times a week). So far I finally got down and am hovering in 145-146. Best of luck to you!

I went from overweight (maybe obsese) to normal range on my own. Joined MFP because I wanted to get very lean. And now I'm an addict.

    Until there's a cure.

I put my starting weight at my highest. I have gone up and down my whole life until now. I put my highest weight there to see how far I have come. This battle is mostly psychological for me. I have really changed things around for good now and no longer gain weight, so this time it is staying off forever. My ending weight is my ideal goal weight. I am finally almost there and on the border of normal weight. August for my brother's wedding, is when I anticipate being there. I also realize now that taking care of myself is for life and the way I feel (not the weight on the scale) is the most important. I have stopped weighing myself and now use the way my clothes fit as my guide. There is no backwards for me anymore, only forwards.

I started MFP at 172lbs, which I think was my biggest, this was the obese category on the BMI scale...... I recently reset my ticker to reflect the last 12 or so lbs (at 129.2 as of this morning) I have to go to my ultimate goal weight, I keep fluctuating around the 130 mark and wanted an extra bit of motivation. Would never come to where I am today without MFP!
