I went to Paris a couple of weeks ago, and posted before how I was concerned about the food available. I got a lot of good advice, and had a blast! I even lost a pound while there! Not due to good choices, mainly to walking and walking. I even climbed the stairs up the Eiffel Tower! Trip of a lifetime, it was just beautiful. I wonder if the people who are lucky enough to live there ever get used to tall the beauty surrounding them.
Anyway, thanks all for the advice, you are great!

Nothing better than stuffing your face on holidays, walking your feet off and falling to bed dead tired every night! :D

Glad you enjoyed your trip. I am going for a few days tomorrow. Taking my hubby for his birthday.

My food log is going to be bad this week. I used to live there, and there is plenty of naughty food I miss. Confit du canard, salade au gebiers (aka salade Perigourdine), Parisian hot dogs (which are a heart attack on a plate), steak tartar with frites

Will try to do a lot of walking, and might also get some day passes at a local gym. Will try to to do some cultural stuff, but am thinking about the shops I want to hit.. The HEMA is a dutch five and dime which is similar to Target in America or Muji in Japan. Cheap but well designed stuff. Also want to hit the Desigual shop.
