Hi! My name is Lauretta and I'm a 39 yr old woman who had bypass (weight loss) surgery a little over four years ago... I've done o.k. on the healthy eating side; however, life has gotten a little more stressful lately and I've started to turn to the snacks. I'm 185, and up about 27 lbs from two years ago. I need some ideas about how to stop grazing and start to motivate myself in the evenings. Otherwise, I'll be right back in the same predicament that I was in before. Help... Any words of encouragement are greatly appreciated. ~Me :)

Good luck! I recently 3 months ago, got back at it myself and since have made some good progress. Something that may help is when you do feel the urge to snack, choose a raw vegetable or fruit. Most of us do not get enough of these and they are an excellent source of nutrients and when your body has the nutrients it needs, you will feel less hungry. That has really helped me out.
