Do you feel like you aren't making progress?

PROGRESS IS SO SLOW SOMETIMES. I was really frustrated with only losing 3 pounds during my first 6 weeks of my exercise program, but it was because I barely changed my diet. I just wasn't ready to go balls-to-the-wall again and it's okay to feel that way. I can also tell that I'm a LOT stronger (I can do a REAL push up now and jog for thirty minutes without stopping!) and I can't wait to measure next week. I don't normally eat terribly or huge portions, but I need to make a few changes to reverse the effects of a few years of careless eating.
Here's some good news: my face is definitely thinner! I'm not weighing myself very much because that's when I start to get a little obsessive, so I'm focusing on fitness.

My weight fluctuates a lot due to water. Use things like measurements and ability to judge your success. Keep a log of your workouts and see theimprovement as you go along. Take pictures once a week so you can see the changes you make over time. Who cares what the scale says as long as you are happy making progress that in the long run really matters. When you see that you can run for longer or maybe you can do that 30 minute jog just a little bit faster you know you are doing the right things to improve your fitness.0

I was hoping the weight was going to come off a lot faster. I been at this at almost 2 months. I kept thinking, I have a lot to lose so I will lose a lot the first few weeks. Was I wrong!! I think my body went into shock and was like wow, lady, what's all this healthy stuff and moving around more!! LOL But I'm now down 16 lbs. That's about 2 lbs a week. What you are supposed to average to do it the healthy way! I really think one of my problems was I watch the Biggest Loser and was thinking I would have weight loss like theirs!! But I came to realize that is not realistic at all!! I will do this my way and do it the healthy way so that it is a lifestyle change, not just a fad!0
