I am going back to powerhouse. I quit before because I felt their staff was rather unfriendly, but I am going back because they are doing a wellness program with my company.
What's the name of your gym. Do you like it?

Northend Barbell. Best gym in town.0

LA Fitness.
It's kinda like globogym but has everything I need. I'd love to join a powerlifting gym instead though. Unfortunately, there's none anywhere near my house.0 -
Fitness down under Cause it's in my basement!!0

YMCA - It's huge here in Wichita, partners with my company, has the nicest facilities, excellent class schedules, real people at all stages/shapes/sizes, and like 6 convenient locations.0

Rapid Fitness.
I really like it but they only have 3 locations all in NC. I don't like that.0 -
World Gym.
Besides the totally obvious steroid freaks who only come to there to rage in front of the mirror and throw around weights in unsafe ways, it's an okay gym. $120/year.
Open "24 hours", which really means until 6pm on fridays, and 7am-8pm on saturdays.
ETA: Wouldn't sign a contract with them again though.0 -

Les Mills... LOVE IT!!!0

JCC - Jewish Community Center...awesome facilities and lots of extra family type stuff for the kids and what not. My only complaint would be that they need at least one more bench press in the barbell area.0

Gold's, for now. A decent powerlifting gym with and actual conditioning setup opened up here in the last year though, so once my current contract is up, I'll be switching over.0

LA Fitness. LOVE IT. The group fitness classes are great.0

Streamwood Park District (I live in Streamwood, IL). It's just the community center, but it's a full gym with machines, treadmills, ellipticals, and tons of free weights, indoor track, 25yd lap pool, hot tub, sauna, 2 basketball courts, $23.75/mo. And it's 1-1/2 mi. from my driveway. Hard to beat it.0

Planet Fitness - I absolutely love it...it's the most affordable gym in town, and the staff is super friendly - which has helped me and my husband learn to lose the weight and get healthy!0

Cheapskates Haven. That's what "I" call it because I can pay bookoo bucks to go to the company gym next door that has a pool, classes, etc. or I can go about ten blocks to the OLD ancient company gym where it's reasonably priced. I only go on days I don't have my martial arts anyway.0

the house of greatness......lol my house0

LA Fitness. Yeah, it's good enough.0

I am at world gym also, and I love it. I was previously a goodlife member and wouldn't go back. I would join crossfit, but it is so expensive!0
