I'm stuffed  ... try padding your food out with veg, your belly feels fuller, but the calories don't shoot up.0
-
you can do it stay stong and think of how happy you will be when you reach your goal, I am having one of those days too and just over indulged0
-
it will get harder before it gets easier. Just stick with it.
See how you feel by day 7...I'll bet you'll feel a little better...especially when you start seeing results.0 -

What are you doing diet wise.... Once you push through, it will get better and easier.0
-
i always add a lot of veggies too, it fills me up. You can do this, just keep in focus what you really want and you can change you! Trust me I know I was 196 and I'm 124 now0

drink a glass of water before you eat
add green veggies to your meals, filling for low calories
it usually takes about 2 weeks to get your appetite in check when you start changing you eating habits. so stick it out
lastly, make sure you are eating enough, what is your suggested calorie intake if you are losing 1lbs a week vs 2lbs?0 -
Hang tough it will be worth it ....and stop counting days.0

You can do it! At night when I feel like I will snack, I drink decalf coffee with a teaspoon of sugar free creamer. It works for me0

I felt like that yesterday (day 13 for me) it's horrible but you just have to think about why you're doing this and try to distract yourself!0
-
You can do this. It's a lifestyle change, not a punishment. One step at a time and,it will get easier!0

If you get hungry, drink a full glass of water. You may only be thirsty. If your still feel hungry after 20 min. try a hand full of almonds, grapes, a peice of string cheese. You are strong - you got this!0

Hang in there, I am sure it is harder living in the dorms, my daughter is also in college, she is a sophomore and in a apartment this year, so that helps. When you are in the cafe, make the best choices you can, are there hard boiled eggs?. Oatmeal is always a good breakfast, add almonds or walnuts to get some protein in. Do you have a refrigerator? Get some Greek yogurt, protein will help keep you full. Try to limit the starchy veggies, the white stuff, bread, rice, baked potato's. If you can eat the green veggies, they are nutrient full, and will help keep you full. If you can, get some protein powder, and make protein shakes.
Don't give up, you can do it!! My daughter has lost just over 42 pounds since august, living the college live. Oh, stay away from alcohol, it is a lot of empty calories, that from the mom in me. keep us posted!0 -
Don't count your days!! This should be a lifestyle change and not a "diet"!! Just make smart choices and remember that you are going to feel much better as each day goes by!!!0
-
Is it hard because you are hungry or missing junk food?0
-
You CAN do this, and you will.0 -
Keep plugging away at it, and if you go off the rails, climb right back up. It doesn't take perfection, but it does take consistency.0

This is day like 3,000 or something for me.
I don't know what you are doing in terms of calories per day, but you are going to give up if you are being too restrictive. When it comes to weight loss -- always have long term sustainability in the forefront of your mind.0 -
Is in my 8th week and I have lost 17lbs so far but my scale is refusing to move. I have a lot of weight to lose. I'm a walker...that is about all I have time for...I'm the mother of 4 boys and 1 girl..plus I babysit 2 baby girls that are 5 and 6 months...I have an open diary...so any advice would be greatly appreciated!0

Plan out your meals; be sure to include things you enjoy eating so that you don’t feel like you are depriving yourself. If you want something sweet (must have chocolate) then pick up the skinny cow items or 100 calorie snacks. Pinterest has TONS of healthy quick & easy snacks, meals & smoothies. I started by giving up sodas for an entire month before I would allow myself a “treat” to have one. Reward yourself with small things so the work seems easier.
Also I log everything BEFORE I eat it sometimes when I see the numbers on the app I will cut my portions in half or just decide not to have it all together. The key for me has been mild changes so I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything and its working great I started 7 weeks ago & I’m already down 20.5 pounds.
My dairy is open you’re welcome to take a look (other than the last couple days went to the rodeo & had to have my deep fried goodness) you are also welcome to friend me. Getting all the positive support from friends on MFP has made a HUGE difference in this decision to make life long changes to my diet.
Best of luck to you!!0 -
It is a long journey... just try to keep in mind that you didn't gain this weight over night... so you aren't going to lose it over night either. Be sure you have your activity set correctly... Did you set a goal for 2 lbs. per week? If so, try bumping it down for now to 1.5 or 1 lb. per week. This will allow you to eat more food while you are getting used to the process. Take it slow and don't beat yourself up. This is a life change that takes time to get used to. You will... and you won't be unhappy with the overall results. Stick with it!0

Hang in there. It is a journey. Most of us didn't get over weight overnight0
-
First of all you look great, Don't worry cuz every single one of us has days like that. For me I noticed it really really helps alot on days that I drink more water. If I up my water I drink by almost double then I find I'm not near as hungry. Is hard to get used to especially cuz I don't really like water that much but I found the Mio waters are really good or the sparkling H20 waters are really good.0

Will power is just like our muscles, the more you use it, the stronger it gets!
You got this!!0 -
Hang tough it will be worth it ....and stop counting days.
Also, you should try making a low calorie soup. Fat free chicken stock with vegetables. It's a good side to your lunch/dinner and it helps to keep you full. You can also blend them and it creates a cream like soup, still with the low calories.0 -
Its always easier and more fun to gain the weight. You can do this. It didn't come on over night so it won't go away that quickly either. Keep itup and it'll get easier. Feel free to add me Same goes for anyone else who would like to0
-
Stay encouraged, you will make it through. Don't let one day get you down.0
