When I get the mid-day munchies....

I log on to MFP and go through the motivation and support forum, I also go through the Success Stories forum to keep me focused and on the right path, to fight that urge to go to the vending machine and get a bag (actually 2) of chips, and a candy bar.

I'm fighting that urge now. I just had a peach, and I'm still mentally fighting myself. Everyday is a challenge, just have to take it one step at a time.

    That's the way to do it. ;) Also, to think about how hard you've worked and weigh the feeling of causing a setback to that hard work versus the feeling of instant gratification. Honestly, some days instant gratification wins and some days the other wins. But as the feeling of instant gratification keeps getting its behind kicked, it enters the ring less and less. Like you said though, one step at a time. :)
