What do you have your sugar goals set for? I don't remember chosing my settings, I think I just went with what was automatic - so my goal is 24 grams of sugar. I had no sugar with breakfast, and had thai soup for lunch with shrimp, cabbage and mushrooms. I haven't even had dinner yet, and I am over by 2 grams! It was the cabbage that did me in - a whopping 18 grams! I can't believe that I am over what they suggested when I haven't even had any carbs today (I am doind a pseudo South Beach Phase 1). What is a realistic sugar goal? Thanks!

If you are doing south beach, then you need to be strict with the sugar. That is the main reason why you achieve weight loss with that one. But if you are doing low cal/low fat, you really don't have to pay toooo close attention to the sugar only if your sugar is from nutrient dense food like cabbage or fruit. I did Atkins and it worked well for me. I just don't want to cut out my fruit this time.0
