Trying to swap from Weight Watchers to calorie counting

Basically I halved my weight using the old discovery plan (where fruit is pointed) provided by weight watchers ( I brought the books online, so never had the meetings/maintenance plan) but I cant get out of the habit of point counting, and I KNOW I'm not eating anywhere near enough in a day, because I'm so wrapped up in the whole ''saturated fat'' thing.
I'm wanting to maintain now, but i'm scared of putting weight back on, but at the same time I don't want to spend my whole life counting points so I guess even the weight watchers maintenance plan wouldn't quite work for me.

I was just wondering if any one else had a similar experience and could point me in the right direction or is at least willing to chat about it and put a end to my food worries.

Maybe you switched to calorie counting and lost/maintained or something? :)

I don't need scaring with worries of ''starvation mode'' and other things like that, I've already admitted I'm not eating enough a day, things like that just scare me even more and don't help at all. D:
