Strength training doesn't add more to my calories burned?

WHY! I had an AMAZING workout tonight. Included at the end some weighted squats to shoulder press, walking lunges, planks, etc. I know I burned calories because they were hard and I was sweating. How come when I add things like squats (I put in the repetitions and weights and sets) it doesn't give me any calories burned?

  • I add it as STRENGTH TRAINING under the cardio section.
  • I was wondering this earlier as I did something similar.. was pretty dissappointed I couldn't see calories burned

It's close to impossible to calculate calories burned by strength training without a lot of accurate counters and calculations. A lot of people just guess or take numbers from other sites and feed them in.
