P90X results

I'm new to the Beachbody coaching and workouts, and I have to admit I'm skeptical of some of the before and after photo's I've seen. Have any of you had real success with the program that you can share? I've been working out like a maniac for 2+ years and do not have the resulst like the P90x program promises. I'm curious if I should scrap my trainer and put the money into the program. Thoughts???

I did P90x for three months and followed the diet plan and lost 30lbs and looked great. It is lots of work and definitely the diet is a major factor. I still do the work outs but not every day.0

<--- did P90X dropped 30ish lbs take a look at my pics from day one. Its not for the faint of heart especially the first disk on day one. Lots of push ups and pull ups If your like me you wont be able to do it but when you complete a disk all the way through you feel like a sweaty, hotmess, of a champion!!0

i own it but found it a tad boring too slow and not so challenging , id liked turbofire fast paced but its not weight focused0

I started with p90x. I have the pics somewhere. Lost about 35 lbs. I then moved to Crossfit. Which got me to where I am now in the before and current photo.
The p90x videos get boring and annoying. I imagine that's the same with anything you watch for 90 days straight.
Ps... P90x definitely put me in better shape, but CrossFit is way tougher and a lot more engaging.0 -
this is mainly from p90x, I mixed it up but pretty much all my strength and 1/2 my cardio is p90x, im 5'7" first is about 164 lbs, and 2nd is 140

Thanks everyone! I have Les Mills Pump, Turbo Fire, and just ordered Les Mills combat. I really enjoy strength training- particularly lifting heavy. I just have not gotten the results I want so far- a combo perhaps of not eating enough, and not eating right consistently. I'm not afraid of the effort required. My fitness regimen is one thing I have been consistent and dedicated with. I'm not interested in Cross Fit, honestly. It seems a little too.....cultish (?) in my experience. Everyone is all about paleo, and from what I've seen, there is no direction or emphasis on good form. Plus, in South Florida its expensive. The one I went to was an hour long, doing 4 things over and over for the WOD. I don't see the need to pay that much for someone to outline 4 exercises for me. But that is just me- I've seen some great results that I cannot deny. I'm just really trying to weigh my options, and determine the best way to finally get me where I want to be; drop body fat, have long, lean, defined muscle. I've been at this for a long time, and have seen many get more and better results in less time!0

That's so great!!!!!! Excellent results!
The calorie guidelines I saw for P90x were incredibly high. I would follow it, but lower it a bit personally. I'm not afraid to eat, but I think it was 2400 calories. That's a lot!0 -
Most definitely do P90X! It's changed my life! I'm on my second round right now. I lost 27 pounds, 27", and went from a size 20 to size 16!0
