Insanity Calorie Burning Calc. Vs. MyFitnessPal

Okay, let's break this down firstly:
On MyFitnessPal, to lose 2 lbs./week, I need to intake Net Calories of 1440 per day. That means, even after working out, I need to have 1440 calories.
I am doing Insanity, and when I calculated my Caloric intake, it said I needed to intake 1393 to lose 2 lbs. per week.
Here's the thing: In the Insanity handbook, it doesn't state that those are Net Calories...so should I consume ONLY that many calories or is MFP correct in saying that I should intake about 1400 calories net?
