Ladies-clothes- when/what to buy (budget conscious)

I did the used clothes store route, buying, returning and using the additional discount. Went from a size 18 to a size 10....knowing 10 would be my smallest I then started shopping in "real" stores. Kohl's was my favorite and I usually shopped with them when I had a 30% coupon. Over the last couple of years I put back on some weight and when I couldn't fit back into my 10's last winter I went back to the thrift store and found a great pair of 12 Ryder Jeans for $3 which I've worn until just this week when I finally got back into my 10's!! I've got a month until we go on vacation and I am anxiously awaiting my next coupon for Kohl's and being just a week or two out from my vacation to go shopping again0

I live and die in leggings now. They are as cheap as chips and easy to find. When I get to my target size I'll start buying some jeans.0

I still have loads of clothes in each size that I progressed through as I "grew" but I reward myself with new clothes all the time. I hit the consignment shops and sales racks. I got a top at a boutique last weekend that was clearance for $14. I go to the consignment shops in this wealthy town so most all of the clothes are from high-end stores. I once found some Tiffany earring for $50; I couldn't pass that up. I also got a wool coat for $10 at consignment last weekend.0

I been thinking about that too! I think I am just going to wait till I really need new clothes because my old clothes are to loose. But I have some old clothes that couldn't fit very well that are starting to fit so I am hoping that can help too.0

I usually shop clearance racks, I rarely pay full price for anything. I went to an outlet mall for sports bras recently, I picked up a couple of nice ones for 1/2 price. The only splurge I give myself is swim suits, when you are almost nekid, you want your suit to fit perfectly!0

Goodwill! Poppin' tags!
Ha ha! My daughter and I play that song in the car every time we head to the thrift shop!0 -
Clearance racks, altering (elastic in the back of my dress pants does wonders), thrift shops.
I don't have much of a clothes selection right now, but since the seasons are about to change it doesn't seem right to get any more winter stuff that I won't be able to wear next winter.
It's kind of deperssing to not have many clothes to wear, but I look a whole lot better in the ones that I do have!!!0
