I figured out my TDEE/BMR/Body Fat %, etc. From this info I have decided to increase my calories to 1800 (it was previously set to 1500). However, when i changed it on MFP it is now saying that my projected weight loss will only be .5lbs/week. Which would take me forever to loss the few pounds that I want to. Anyways- do I just ignore what MFP has projected as my weight loss? Or is their prediction quite accurate with me upping my cals? My TDEE is 2094, and my BMR is 1500. I figured 1800 would be a nice happy medium. Thoughts??

Thanks in advance.

Ignore MFP's weight loss projection. I have found to be far from linear. With only a few lbs to lose you are on the right track! Good luck!

Ignore what MFP says as it does not go based on your exercise which you should of planned into your TDEE amount.

Also, 0.5lbs is a good goal to strive for each week since according to your ticker you don't have a lot left to lose. The smaller the deficit the better.

Yes ignore it, MFP doesn't factor that all in.

So funny you posted this today- I was doing the same thing last night! I realized I hadn't been eating enough because I was confused with the app when I first started, and since I've added back all those calories properly now- I've immediately dropped 5 pounds. It was awesome---and to think I just needed MOARR FOODD :P

But yeah, MFP can be a little off at times. Read your body...I def think 1800 is a happy medium...on days you do less or more just compensate. More healthy food is always better fuel! :D
