Am i making progress??

Ive been dieting and using MFP since december at my lowest weigh in i weighed 166 losing 19lbs from where i started. I now have added even better foods to my diet (lots and lots of veggies and fiber) but i feel like im not making progress. My daily intake is 1700 calories net regualdless how hard my workout is during the day. And i weigh myself every morning but the weight rises every morning by a bit i dont understand why or how! Advice would be appreciated

    You are going to have to decide how you define progress. What's your goal?

    19 pounds lost in 3 months sounds like great progress to me. Is your stamina improving? Are your clothes fitting differently?

    How long have you been gaining and how much have you gained? Small increases in weight are usually caused by water retention. Stress, sodium, exercise all cause our bodies to hold onto water. Make sure you're drinking plenty of fluids to discourage your body from hoarding more and you might consider tracking your sodium to see how much you're eating.
