Chickpeas/garbanzo beans

Hi all

Just wondered if anyone had any interesting gluten free recipes for chickpeas?!

I'm a student on a budget and have a can of these loitering with intent... any ideas?

    I made Blondies out of garbanzo beans a while back. They were also gluten free. I got the recipe from moneysavingmom.com under Gluten-Free Garbanzo Bean Blondies. My meat eating, beer drinking husband even liked them. I hope you do too.

    I eat them as a snack. Take 1T Olive Oil, 1/4t Cayenne Pepper, and any other spices you would like and mix it together and stir in beans. Let sit for about 15 minutes and stir every 5. Put on aluminum foil on a cookie sheet and bake on 350 degrees until crisp. Stir every 15 minutes. I like mine really crispy so it can take about 30 to 45 minutes. I don't know how many calories but they have lots of protein and taste delicious.
