Back on track and calorie intake questions

Hey everyone! Well I have a little problem and I would appreciate your help
I spent an entire week eating 600-700 calories more than I usually eat. I don't know why, I just felt like eating and ate cakes, ice cream and sweets without control. And I feel extremly guilty now, I want to stop the wild cravings and get back on track. I would appreciate ANY advice and how to keep myself away from sweets. Also, there's a little question about calorie intake I have.
My BMR is around 1400 kcal and my TDE is around 1900 kcal. What does that mean? Should I eat below 1400 kcal?
Thank you so much for reading!
