So I made this topic so we can share helpful info that others may not know. I myself love to find out new things that could help me in meeting my weight loss goal and strengthen my overall health. Example: I love almonds and I've heard nuts in general are great for you to eat but I did not know that walnuts are the considered the king of all nuts! I had never eaten a walnut until just recently which sparked me to look up the benefits. Now if you're going to state something you claim to be fact please attach a link, or a quote from the article itself. And if you come across info. that you may already know please be humble and don't be a braggadouche. Keep in mind we're not winning anything or getting paid for what we know. Thanks!
A new scientific study positions walnuts in the number one slot among a family of foods that lay claim to being among Mother Nature's most nearly perfect packaged foods. Walnuts have a combination of more healthful antioxidants and higher quality antioxidants than any other nut. Antioxidants in walnuts were 2-15 times as potent as vitamin E, renowned for its powerful antioxidant effects that protect the body against damaging natural chemicals involved in causing disease. "Walnuts rank above peanuts, almonds, pecans, pistachios and other nuts," said Joe Vinson, Ph.D., who did the analysis.
