Hey!
I started losing weight a few months ago but was stunted by getting ill and an Easter break at home. I started at 210lbs and got down to 196.6lbs, including losing 10lbs in four weeks, but I'm back up to (at the last check) 199.8lbs. I've put my target weight at 140lbs but I'm just using that as a healthy aim. When I get to a healthy BMI I'll be able to see what my body needs and how more weight I'll need to lose, if any.
Everyone's read the success stories and though they're really inspiring, I've never been completely convinced simply because I've tried many times and it's never worked for me. Or, rather, I've never been able to stick with it. I met my boyfriend at the beginning of University and found that he lost about five stone last year. That convinced me that the success stories aren't like the tabloids and that I can add to them. Losing nearly a stone to begin with, in such a short time, has spurred me on to lose more. Unfortunately I've slacked off a bit due to being at home for Easter and being ill before then. I still haven't stopped the weekly weigh-ins, though, so I don't want to see it go up again.
It's always good to have and give support. Let's get to it...
