After midnight question..

If it's after 12am and I haven't slept yet, should I log in any exercise or snacks the day before the "true" date? Or on the actual day I exercised or ate? haha I'm confused!

Anything counts before you sleep as a complete day, generally speaking. If your program/spreadsheet flips over at midnight, then record the day before.

Not sure it would matter either way. Calories don't tell time

It doesn't make a difference either way, really.
  • Calories go on the day before. Think of it as if sleeping restarts your body and you have to go through the whole process over again. Not merely because it matters.. but it may form a habit and an easier routine for you. Otherwise, I also don't think it matters much. I do it both ways, sometimes, and lost weight when I did.
