Sodium

Hello! :)
I'm curious about sodium. Is it good, okay or really bad? I notice a lot of my food has sodium but its foods like a salad with chicken and cheese. Where is the sodium coming from? And how do I try and stay away from it?

    Its an electrolyte. It does a lot of things like move water and fluids within the body and contracting muscle. If you're eating mostly whole foods, drinking enough water, not adding tons of salt to your foods, not having any sodium related health issues, you have nothing to worry about.
