Please tell me how many calories I should be taking in before exercise everyday, and how to set up my carb/protein/etc ratios.
I'm so confused.

I've read a little on how to figure it out, but it all goes over my head.0

Read this! It will explain everything.

MFP will tell you the calories you need if you put in how much weight you wish to lose per week. 1lb is recommended unless you have a significant amount to lose. then you just eat back your exercise calories to net that amount.
as for macros, a lot of people use 40/30/30 slpit for carbs, protein, fat. but the main thing is to ensure you are getting plenty of fruit and veg and lean protein, with less processed stuff.0 -
Hi,
Try going onto www.fat2fitradio.com and use the calorie and calculator. This should give you an idea of how many calories you need to eat in order to lose weight. Hope this helps0 -
I agree with both posters, the road map and the fat2fit ratio. You will have to tweek it as you go along to make it work for you. I used to use the MFP way and it just wasn't working for me. The TDEE -20% is what I use and it is working great. Good luck.0
