Went on MFP a couple months ago, left and now I'm back..

Hey guys:

I've had a profile on here for awhile but I've never posted on the forums. I am starting my diet and excercise plan up again (today is my first day back) and I was just curious about one thing....if a diet worked the first time, will the same one work again a month or so later? Or will your body recognize what you're doing and fight it? Lol. Last time I was on a 1,200 calorie a day diet with at least an hour of exercise, if not more, and I lost weight pretty quickly it seemed. I don't weigh myself as I don't like to be let down, I use the mirror instead lol. But anyway what are your thoughts?
