Hey there, just wondering how you adjust calorie goals while nursing. I know it's not an exact science, but do we really burn 500 calories per day? That seems like a lot!

When I was still nursing my daughter, I added the 500 daily, and lost 50lb by 6 months PP. That was 40lb pregnancy weigh and 10lb extra.0

I'm still nursing my 9 month old and she's not really eating much solid food yet (we do baby led weaning), I'm still giving myself the 500 calorie cut and have lost almost 40lbs since September (55 from my highest pregnancy weight last May).0

My daughter is 12 months and is still nursing around the clock. We also do baby led weaning, which has worked out great, but it doesn't fill her up the way eating jars of food would. So I'm still heavily nursing.
Sad fact... I actually weigh more now than I did when I was pregnant. PPD got a hold of me... but now I'm fighting back!0
