lots of protein, not enough fiber?

i've seen some people on here say that you need more fiber if you eat a lot of protein. i routinely go over my protein goal so i'm wondering if someone can tell me how much more protein i should eat? i tried an internet search, i swear, but didn't find anything helpful.

    Did you mean to type, "how much more fiber"? The general recommendation is 25 to 30 grams per day for most adults.

    oh yeah, that is what i meant. MFP has me at 25 g and i'm pretty good with hitting that, i'm just wondering if it needs to be more since in generally i'm getting over 170g protein daily

    unless you're having pooping issues, that amount of fiber might work just fine. if you're having issues, then try upping your fiber.

    If you are trying to intake more fiber though, go after ground flax seeds, beans (including hummus) and lentils and berries.

    ^^agree^^ and make sure you drink enough water to help the fiber work without pain and cramping
